Reuben Foster's ex falsely accused another man of domestic violence in 2011

The ex-girlfriend of San Francisco 49ers' Reuben Foster took the stand Thursday to say that she was lying when she accused Foster of domestic violence.

Elissa Ennis, the alleged victim in Foster's domestic violence case, said she lied to authorities about Foster committing domestic violence against her, "Because I was pissed and I wanted to end him", after he broke up with her, she said. When she was cross-examined by Foster's attorney, Ennis said she made a similar false accusation seven years ago and spent time in jail because of it. "I apologize to everybody". It was a money scheme.

"I was threatening Reuben".

Ennis tesified for about two hours and also admitted stealing from Foster, according to Inman.

Ennis reportedly recalled the details of the breakup that stemmed from the incident, and indicated that it was actually her who got violent in the altercation by striking Foster with a clothes hanger. "I told him I'm about to f- yo s- up, make sure you don't have a job tomorrow". She said she took jewelry and money and stored it in a safe in Louisiana.

Venezuelan authorities have claimed Holt was keeping guns in the home of the woman he went to the country to marry in 2016. The Trump administration has suggested there are political motives for Mr Holt's continued detention.

Foster, 24, pleaded not guilty last week to three felony charges stemming from the incident: domestic violence with an allegation of great bodily injury, forcefully attempting to prevent a victim from reporting a crime and possession of an assault weapon.

As reported by the Sacramento Bee, Ennis is believed to have first recanted the story just days after the incident, but charges were still filed against Foster in April. And she claims there's video to prove it.

"(Foster) did not strike her, injure her or threaten her", said Rickard.

49ers GM John Lynch previously stated Foster would be released if the allegations were true, but it looks like he will be able to get back to football.

As of noon PT, the hearing was at a lunch break and scheduled to re-convene at 1:30.
