Kanye West & Kid Cudi Release ‘Kids See Ghosts’

Remaining remarkably true to his word, Kanye West delivered the third Wyoming-recorded album today, releasing his collaborative Kids See Ghosts LP with Kid Cudi. For a close group of about 200 friends and industry insiders gathered around a huge bonfire.

Like the listening session for last week's Ye, the premiere of Kids See Ghosts was also live-streamed for fans.

Footage of the party shows a pyrotechnic display firing giant balls of flames into the air.

Before the event started, fans took to social media to voice their frustration with the livestream crashing.

The sixth track opens with someone singing the words "kids see ghosts sometimes".

The delays even went as far as the actual album release, which ended up being pushed back hours. All five albums are set to consist of just seven songs each.

Cudi was also the one to share the upcoming album's artwork earlier this week, by artist Takashi Murakami (who also did Ye's 'Graduation' cover).

As of around Friday morning, the full album is now available on some streaming platforms, including Apple Music and Tidal.

West and Cudi have collaborated on a number of West's most commercially successful songs in the past, including "All of the Lights" and "Welcome to Heartbreak". Last week, the 41-year-old dropped his own album ye, the follow-up to 2016's The Life of Pablo.
