No, Millie Bobby Brown Is NOT homophobic

No, Millie Bobby Brown Is NOT homophobic

The hashtag was used to spread stories - many of them with outrageous details - falsely linking Brown to homophobia.

The Stranger Things actress deleted her account on Wednesday after becoming the target of a wave of satirically homophobic memes.

The 14-year-old star is said to have left the social media platform after being bombarded with memes featuring images of Millie containing multiple homophobic slurs.

Brown has been a supporter of LGBTQ rights and created a secondary Twitter account Milliestopshate last summer that remains active.

In a new, frustrating report, it seems Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown is the latest actor to be driven off social media thanks to online bullying from toxic fans. The last tweet is from December 12, 2017.

Pompeo: No sanctions relief for North Korea until complete denuclearization
Trump's own chest-thumping tweet seemed reminiscent of the "Mission Accomplished" banner flown behind President George W. WATCH: Was the North Korea summit a success or a fail? He said negotiations would recommence "in the next week or so".

When one Twitter user pointed out that the girl making the claim doesn't have a hijab on in her profile picture, she responded, "because she ripped it off me".

"Wowwwwwww humanity really is the worst", one person tweeted. The actress' Instagram account, which has just under 17 million followers, is also still live.

They continue: "She is a f**king child and you are cracking jokes about her hating gay people and wanting to kill them when she hasn't done anything wrong?"

The memes depicted the actress saying homophobic quotes and have been removed by Twitter in the wake of the incident.
