Redmond O’Neal Charged With Attempted Murder In Crime Spree

The son of the late Farah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, Redmond O'Neal, is going to jail after the court and jury convicted him on charges of attempted murder and assault after he nearly killed two people during several attacks in Los Angeles.

O'Neal faces multiple charges including two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count each of attempted murder, criminal threats and brandishing a knife and one count of battery. Police said the man suffered "significant and serious stab wounds and cuts to his face, neck, and upper body".

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, O'Neal was arrested on robbery and drug charges on May 8 after robbing a 7-Eleven in Santa Monica, California.

Farrah Fawcett's son Redmond O'Neal has reportedly been linked to a vicious "crime spree" that includes the stabbing of a man on May 4.

Trump Withdraws Endorsement Of G-7 Communique Over Trudeau Statements
On Saturday, Trump repeated his desire to have a sunset clause in an updated NAFTA deal, a demand Trudeau rejected again. What else did Trump have to say? "Canadians are polite and reasonable but we will also not be pushed around", he said.

KABC-TV reports that the 33-year-old O'Neal, who's struggled with drug addiction, is charged with punching or stabbing five men over several days last month in the Venice Beach and Palms neighborhoods. Initially, the victim thought that the suspect had merely "punched" him in the back but once paramedics arrived, the paramedics discovered that the victim had sustained a serious stab wound to the left side of his body.

Authorities noted O'Neal matched the description of the suspect in every case: red hair with distinctive tattoos. And with this particular crime, Redmond allegedly left fingerprints at the scene, which helped authorities identify him as a suspect.

In a press statement released to the public from the LAPD, the detectives from the Pacific Area stood before the court on the 8th of June and presented their evidence. O'Neal pleaded not guilty to all of these charges. He also was charged with possession of a smoking device, possession of an injection device and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, according to the district attorney. His father, Ryan O'Neal still acts - his most recent work was teaming up Love Story (1970 release) co-star Ali MacGraw in a stage play called Love Letters, in 2016.

O'Neal has a history of drug arrests dating to 2005. In 2016, he was released after nearly two years in prison.
