Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order announced, releases late 2019

Respawn Entertainment is working on a new Star Wars game called "Jedi Fallen Order", publisher Electronic Arts teased during its E3 press conference on Saturday.

We have nearly no details whatsoever regarding Star Wars: Fallen Jedi Order, as it was just briefly mentioned by Respawn founder Vince Zampella during the EA press conference.

Zampella revealed that you will play a Jedi and, yes, you will be able to wield the series' signature lightsaber weapon.

We've gathered this and everything else we know so far about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order right here. Chances are Respawn will start trickling out information as we get closer to the holidays this year. Barring any delays, the game sounds like the title many Star Wars fans have been waiting for.

On Wednesday he told Channel 4: 'I actually backed up everything I said with documents. I am quite comfortable standing by the statements that I made'.

Star Wars is a hot property and EA will want to keep the hype surrounding it alive. Zampella said that we can expect more at E3 2019. Zampella played it coy but did reveal a few teasing details including the name and a launch window.

Firstly, let's look at the studio: Respawn Entertainment.

Since this is an area that hasn't been extensively explored in the new Star Wars canon, this has the potential to be a really exciting game.

Stay tuned for more details as the game's development continues. What do you think we'll see tomorrow? It's set during dark times for the Jedi, and features a story where they're being hunted.
