With only a reveal trailer promising that the release will chronicle Master Chief's battle to save the Earth, questions have sprung up as to where the game fits within the wider series. Let's see if this new game can recapture that title's nostalgic magic. "In Halo Infinite, the game will focus on the Master Chief and continue his saga after the events of Halo 5". Are you hoping to see Halo 5: Guardians on PC? Ninja Theory, Compulsion Games, Playground Games, and Undead Labs are now Microsoft studios and therefore future games from them will be exclusive to Xbox.

On Sunday, Microsoft's Xbox head Phil Spencer confirmed the division was working with the company's cloud technology team to come up with a way to stream games with console graphics quality to any device.

Earlier today, Todd Howard surprised gamers by making an appearance at Microsoft's E3 presentation.

That original content is core to the message Microsoft is using to sell Game Pass.

For a while, the Xbox One had lagged behind the PlayStation 4 in producing exclusive titles and subsequently seemed to lose ground to Sony's games console. There's also a glimpse at one of the most iconic video game vehicles of all time: the Warthog. If 343 Industries were to release the single-player part of the game first, the developer could work out all the bugs and kinks before releasing the multiplayer.

Compulsion Games. As "We Happy Few" nears its full, multiplatform release on August 10, Microsoft has entered into a letter of intent to acquire Montreal-based Compulsion Games.

We've contacted Microsoft for comment. It has formed a brand new studio called The Initiative.

In addition, from 343 Industries' official website, while describing the effect that the Slipspace Engine will have on Halo Infinite comes this phrase: "A living, breathing world ripe for exploration and endless gameplay possibilities".
